Pardon Services Canada’s Ottawa office is conveniently located in the Fairmont Chateau Laurier, next door to the Parliament Buildings. Near the Ontario-Quebec border, it serves residents from such locations as Newmarket, Barrie, Brampton, Caledon, Cambridge, Dryden, Chatham, Georgetown, Guelph, and Hamilton, all of whom are served by Pardon Services Canada in Ottawa.

Ottawa is the capital of Canada. It is the second largest city in Ontario and the fourth largest city in the country. Founded in 1826 as Bytown and incorporated as “Ottawa” in 1855, the city has evolved into a political and technological centre of Canada. Its original boundaries were expanded through numerous minor annexations and ultimately replaced by a new city incorporation and major amalgamation in 2001 that significantly increased its land area. Ottawa has become a multicultural city with a diverse population. Ottawa is ranked with the second highest quality of living of any large city in the Americas and the 14th highest in the world. It is also rated the second cleanest city in Canada, and the third cleanest in the world. In 2012, the city was ranked for the third consecutive year as the best community in Canada to live in.
Locations like Cornwall, Prince Edward Island; Miramici, Oromocto, and St. Johns in New Brunswick; Yarmouth, Cape Breton, and Milford in Nova Scotia; and Bishops Falls, Chamberlains, and Marystown in Newfoundland, are likewise served by Pardon Services Canada’s Ottawa office.

Several border crossings along the International Boundary between Canada and the United States provide travel to and from Ontario and the Maritime provinces.
